What is a Bar Mitzvah?

Following years of study, Brad will have the honor of leading the Shabbat (Sabbath) morning service for our congregation. He will lead prayers, chant from the Torah and deliver a D’var Torah (a speech about the Torah portion he read).  Some parts of the service will be in Hebrew, but other parts will be in English, making it easy to follow along.  This service marks Brad's transition into the responsibilities of a Jewish adult.
